I have been receiving acupuncture treatments from Lillian Guo for several months now for persistent recurrent shingles pain. When I started seeing her, the reoccurrences of the pain was every 10 days to 2 weeks and was severe and becoming more and more debilitating. I was on very strong medications for the pain but it was not controlled when fresh occurrences happened. Within 5 weeks I was off all medications except occasional Tylenol. From the first treatment I noticed a big difference not only in the pain but also in my general feeling of well-being. Now I am having mild to moderate outbreaks only every 6-8 weeks and they are very short lasting. The time span between outbreaks are getting longer and longer. Lillian is very knowledgeable, kind, gentle, and seems to know exactly what to do to relieve my symptoms. Often, I will be symptom free by the time I leave the clinic, or within 1 hour. I have more energy, don’t feel so tired all the time. I would recommend Lillian to anyone, especially anyone suffering from any nerve pain such as from shingles. Much better than taking a bunch of pills that have adverse effects on the whole body. Many thanks to Lillian for giving me my life back after 3 long years of being in such pain.

Dr Lillian Guo was recommended by Dr Witt, a licensed Acupuncturist, who felt he no longer could help with my pain. I have now been receiving treatments for approximately two months, twice a week. I cannot say enough on the results I have experienced. My chronic pain was unbearable and my quality of life was nonexistent. But after my weekly treatments, I can now walk short distances without pain. Dr Guo, also takes extra time to listen and explain any questions you might have.
